Shoe shop in Gothenburg has opened in Kungsportsplatsen over the summer, and its regular business is now in full swing.
Semrén & Månsson has worked together with and Wallenstam to devise an interior with as much “sneaker feel” as possible. The premises, which are located in the Hernhutaren block, have been fitted out in a low-key range of colours where leather and rubber, concrete and timber form a foundation for the footwear.

The interior was developed pragmatically, and the issue of storage was central. The answer: specially designed, full-height shelves offering plenty of flexibility, combined with a substantial compact archive which has to act as storage.
The interior is also characterised by local Gothenburg colour: the metal shelving for shoes is made four blocks away by Lindskog och Gyllström, the fittings were built in Partille, and industrial luminaires which came from Götaverken in Gothenburg hang from the ceiling. is the first completed building in the Hernhutaren block with which Semrén & Månsson has worked together with Wallenstam.
